Herbal flavors and stewed fruit aromas dominate the super clear and stony bouquet of the 2014 Pündericher Marienburg Riesling Rothenpfad Reserve. Aged for two years on its lees and bottled in October 2016 just two weeks before I tasted it, this is a full-bodied, rich and silky textured Riesling with very concentrated, viscous fruit, great purity and elegance.
