There is a beguiling natural sweetness to the rich and sappy flavors that possess excellent depth before culminating in a robust, powerful and notably firm finale. Patience will be required as this fine effort is built-to-age.

(17.5+/20) Much more savoury and controlled than their Échezeaux, with a lovely clove and anise spice on the palate. Very long, very aromatic aftertaste with some vegetal stemmy hints as well as the spice and just-ripe black cherry. (RH)
