The 2015 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spätlese has a clear and discreet, but very deep and elegant fruit aroma that indicates a cool smokiness of crushed stones. This Riesling is very clear, piquant and elegant on the palate, with a gorgeously lush fruit and lingering salinity and mineral grip. This is an excellent, well-concentrated and expressive terroir Riesling from the other Sonnenuhr. Now the Wehlener needs all its charms, because otherwise the Zeltinger is Prüm's Spätlese king in 2015. - Stephan Reinhardt
