The 2015 Riesling Kinheimer Hubertuslay Auslese *** (Golden Capsule) is clear, deep and complex on the nose and opens with ripe but fresh fruit aromas intermixed with herbal notes. Highly elegant, precise and finessed but also rich and lush on the palate, this is a well textured Auslese with super finesse and present acidity but also some fine tannins. This wine is partly fermented in a small barrel, which gives it greater development and a silky textured complexity. It is more dense and concentrated than the Rosenberg, but it also has great finesse and precision. Highly digestible even today, but I wouldn't waste its greatest talents before the wine is fully developed. - Stephan Reinhardt
