Straw yellow with golden underpinnings. Unmistakable California Chardonnay on the nose with ripe orchard apple, toasty vanilla, baking spices and a touch of pineapple. The palate is clean and direct albeit rich. Ample amounts of oak spice and ripe Golden Delicious apple provide the thrust with a slight creaminess. There is precision here bringing focus to the long slightly saline finish that adds some complexity with addition of lemon oil, bright acidity and baking spices.
