(90-92 points) Domaine. Rich purple, ripe fruit and plenty of oak. Above their Caillerets. Pretty dense on the palate, a touch too massive for my idea of this vineyard, some grainy tannins, very ripe fruit all around. Perhaps this will marry together better later on.

(90-92 points) (no frost): Bright ruby-red. Sweet but lightly medicinal aromas of red and black cherry; seemed to close up in the glass. Supple and concentrated but quite primary, even a bit reduced, and distinctly less showy today than the Caillerets. The medicinal quality carries through on the finish, where the slightly angular tannins build. This wine needs a racking--not to mention time in the cellar. - Stephen Tanzer, November 2017
