On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and vibrant, with a deep core of succulent fruit, fine-boned and chalky structuring tannins and a long, energetic finish.-WK

The medium-bodied flavors are also admirably concentrated and refined if a bit less powerful while delivering good length on the precise and reasonably well=balanced finish though the wood does resurface. This mocha-inflected effort is delicious but it doesn't have quite the same energy as the Mazis and the Charmes. In sum, this is very good but doesn't appear to be at its usual outstanding level.
