From a southeast-facing vineyard that is picked pretty late for this style, the 2017 Oberhäuser Leistenberg Riesling Kabinett is lush and piquant on the nose that offers ripe but fresh and clear fruit intertwined with piquant stone and herbal aromas. Beautiful. Salty-piquant and pretty intense and even concentrated on the palate, this is another picture-book Leistenberg from the Dönnhoffs, though its quite ripe and intense as well.
