Note the change of spelling from Margaux (2016 vintage) to Margot. I won’t bore you with the details of why. Pale with a lemon tint, and a very attractive nose. Tension in the fruit, just enough oak behind. The wine opens out beautifully on the palate, and has a fine complex finish. This comes mostly from Encégnieres and is a classic representation of Chassagne.
