(91-93 points) Picked on the same day as Bouchères and showing a little more personality. Pretty lemon yellow, punchy plums behind, some smoky sandalwood. Juicy ripe yellow plums behind backed by a saline acidity, some strength of character here. Ripe greengage.

(91-93 points) The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Les Gouttes d'Or mingles aromas of citrus oil and pear with hints of fresh bread and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, it's concentrated and mineral, with a tightly coiled core and a racy spine of acidity. This is another Bouchard Meursault that's impressively tensile in this ripe white Burgundy vintage.

So creamy, this white is almost chewy, evoking peach, lemon cake and baking spice aromas and flavors. This has a solid structure buried underneath the flesh, emerging as a lemon note on the finish. Drink now through 2030.— B.S.

(90-92 points) The 2019 Meursault Les Gouttes d’Or 1er Cru has a harmonious bouquet with a more floral aspect than the Boucheres, hints of yellow plum and peach developing with aeration. The palate is well balanced, offering a tang of marmalade on the entry, and a little more saline than the Boucheres, with good length on the finish.
