Since 1888, only the finest Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown on the estate have been used to make Argiano Brunello di Montalcino. Grapes are selected from the most noble vineyard plots, vinified, then aged for 1 year in both French oak barriques and tonneaux. In the 2nd year, the wine is transferred to large Slavonian oak barrels, which allow the wine to achieve balance. Finally, after completing 2 years of maturation in wood, the wine is transferred into concrete tanks.

The combination of concentrated, ripe grapes undergoing fermentation at meticulously controlled temperatures, together with careful ageing in a selection of different oak barrels, produces red wines that conserve that incredible aging potential for which Brunello di Montalcino is famous for.

The 2020 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine crafted from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, hailing from the renowned Brunello di Montalcino sub-region of Tuscany, Italy. Produced by Argiano, a respected name in the wine industry, this vintage stands as a testament to the quality and tradition of Italian winemaking. While specific professional reviews of this particular vintage are not provided, the reputation of the Brunello di Montalcino region and the Argiano producer suggests a wine of notable quality and character.

Argiano has a long history of producing wines that capture the essence of their terroir. The Brunello di Montalcino region is known for its complex and full-bodied wines, and the Sangiovese Grosso varietal used in this wine typically offers flavors that range from cherry and plum to earthy notes and a hint of spice.

The 2020 vintage in Tuscany generally experienced favorable weather conditions, which often contributes to higher quality wines with balanced acidity and robust flavor profiles. While this wine's alcohol content and closure details are not specified, Brunello di Montalcino wines are typically bottled with a cork closure and tend to have an alcohol content that aligns with other robust red wines.

Noted for its deep red color, the 2020 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino is expected to offer a rich bouquet and a palate that embodies the harmonious blend of fruit, tannins, and acidity typical of the region's offerings. This wine would likely benefit from some aging, allowing its flavors to further develop and integrate, resulting in an even more refined tasting experience. The absence of specific reviews provides an opportunity for wine enthusiasts to explore this vintage with an open and curious palate, discovering its unique characteristics firsthand.
