(95-97 points) The 2022 Montrachet Grand Cru is the only cuvée in two one-year-old barrels. I don't think it needs new oak. There is real energy and complexity here, orange pith and lemon verbena, touches of lemon curd. The palate is beautifully balanced with great depth and power, far more than the Bâtard-Montrachet. It has a beguiling length and precision, velvety smooth, with a hint of walnut on the finish. Divine. - Neal Martin, October 2023

A beautifully layered, cool, pure and airy nose reluctantly reveals its aromas of Granny Smith apples, acacia blossom, fennel, Asian-style spice and a plethora of citrus elements. The racy and super-sleek large-scaled flavors possess fine delineation on the impressively powerful, focused, balanced and hugely long finish where a touch of wood slowly appears. This very classy effort is also very much built-to-age as it clearly has the stuffing to improve for a decade plus. A knockout.
