Flowers’ Camp Meeting Ridge Chardonnay 2024 comes from the producer’s original far–Sonoma Coast estate vineyard in the Fort Ross-Seaview area, a steep, windswept site strongly influenced by the Pacific. It’s a single-vineyard, 100% Chardonnay bottling that aims to capture the region’s long, cool growing season and its naturally bracing structure.

Critical reception is notably strong. Wine Spectator delivers an excellent 95-point review, calling it “this stunning wine” that “packs a wallop of intensity and generosity yet still offers an air of elegance and finesse.” The magazine details a vivid, cool-coast flavor set—“lemon confit, crunchy star fruit, fresh kumquat and orange blossom”—and emphasizes the saline-mineral stamp with “crunchy sea salt, chalk and herbs including lemon balm and vetiver.” Wine Spectator also reports production at “1,800 cases made” and suggests a wide drinking window: “Drink now through 2038.”

Jeb Dunnuck is close behind with 94 points and adds useful technical context, noting the wine is “entirely Wente clone.” He describes a “bright yellow color” and a nose that mixes coastal savor with ripe fruit: “resinous herbs in addition to pineapple, saline, and citrus pith.” On the palate, Dunnuck highlights a style that balances weight and lift, calling it “full-bodied yet light on its feet,” with “refined structure” and “mouthwatering length.” His finish centers on a softer, riper register—“elegant melon and vanilla fruit on the close”—and he recommends enjoying it “over the coming 10 years” (2026–2036).

Taken together, the 2024 Camp Meeting Ridge reads as a concentrated, polished Sonoma Coast Chardonnay: generous in fruit, clearly shaped by sea-salt and chalky mineral notes, and built to hold its form over time without losing its coastal freshness.
