Marco Ferrari's 2024 Rosso di Valtellina is superb. The purity of the fruit is just remarkable. Wild cherry, sage, new leather, menthol, licorice and espresso emerge gradually. Time in the glass brings out a whole range of floral and savory top notes from the whole clusters. Somber and quite introspective, the 2024 Rosso is a seriously beautiful wine that overachieves on every level. Most importantly, it is incredibly delicious.
