A separate, widely circulated retailer quote attributes a 91-point Vinous rating, calling it “a very pretty entry-level offering” with “crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, spice and mint,” followed by “salty dried meats and brambly fruits” and “silken tannins,” finishing as “an especially delicate, gracious Zinfandel” (Vinous, as quoted by retailers).
