An amber-colored rosé with aromas of cherries, praline, dried flowers and some spiced plums. Gastronomic and flavorful, with a medium to full body and dry, spicy and smoky elements. Pouring a bright, medium salmon/orange-tinged color, the NV Champagne Rose is based on the 2019 vintage with the addition of 12% red wine from Bouzy, Ambonnay, and Tours sur Marne. Like the Brut, the wine is expressive and showing beautifully out the gate It has a fruity and spicy nose, with a delicate reductive note that benefits from air on opening, revealing very pretty notes of fresh peaches, lilac, a hint of candied grapefruit, and wet stones. It is a very charming wine on the palate, with a refined mousse, a touch of fresh ginger and white pepper, and an elegantly rounded feel in a medium frame. With a clean and stony finish, it’s versatile and drinking wonderfully now but can also age for another 6-8 years. 8 grams per liter dosage. - Audrey Frick

There’s a lovely delicacy to this elegant rosé Champagne, with nonetheless fine concentration and focus to its flavors of baked white peach and apricot, blood orange peel, brioche and vanilla, all carried on the fine, creamy mousse. Long and softly juicy, with the minerally underpinning coming to the fore on the finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2030. - AN

Based on the 2020 vintage, the Delamotte Rosé NV is all Chardonnay but for the 12% of still Pinot noir from Tours sur Marne, Bouzy, Ambonnay. An assemblage blend of no more than 15 base wines, it was disgorged October 2022 and finished with an eight gram per liter dosage. Vibrant Salmon orange in color, it springs from the glass with very expressive raspberry, marmalade and light spice aromas that transition to a savory and toasty, medium to full-bodied palate with abundant white peach and apricot character, shimmering acidity and a fresh, elegant finish. The latest release of Delamotte's NV Brut Rosé offers up expressive aromas of red apples, crisp stone fruit, cherries and fresh pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping palate.
