Well-stored bottles continue to taste brilliantly but they are fully mature and cannot be expected to last much longer. This wine performed spectacularly in this recent blind tasting (February 1995) revealing a huge complex bouquet of overripe sweet jammy pruny fruit cedar herbs spices and fruitcake. Fat and rich with unctuously-textured chewy expansive flavors and a full-bodied finish it was all this great wine can be. It is however living on the edge so drink it up. collapse

Mature a touch nutty initially but complex and holding with cedar green and black olive spicy black cherry and currant turning elegant and polished.--California Cabernet retrospective. Drink now. 11800 cases made. -JL
