Unfortunately only 750 cases of the spectacular 1991 Cabernet Sauvignon were produced. It boasts an opaque purple color and a promising but extremely youthful unevolved nose of blackcurrants licorice herbs and spicy oak. Very rich with great ripeness intensity and a layered feel on the palate this powerful grapy youthful Cabernet Sauvignon possesses well-integrated tannin and acidity. Approachable because of its opulent personality it will improve over the next 10+ years and drink well for a decade or more. It is a remarkably concentrated impressive Cabernet Sauvignon that collectors with patience should gobble up. This wine made by the former winemaker at Grace Family Vineyards emanates from an old hillside vineyard in Conn Valley.
