The 1995 Doisy-Daëne has a more floral, perhaps more charming bouquet than the 1996, pure Clementine, saffron and slivers of white peach emerging with time, though perhaps note quite as complex as more recent vintages. The palate is well balanced and quite tangy on the entry, a fine bead of acidity here, very Barsac-like towards the finish with a very discrete chlorine note that is beginning to develop. Very fine. Tasted at the vertical at Doisy-Daëne.
