Dark almost purple at the core with a deep ruby rim. This has aged beautifully as evidenced by the complex nose that displays notes of red raspberry cassis cedar fresh cut flowers and crushed rocks. Equally as impressive on the palate red and black fruit cigar tobacco and soft powdery tannins lead into a long elegant finish.A delicious bottle of cabernet that has gained nuance and refinement with extended bottle age it still has tons of life left. Everything I look for in great California cabernet!

A lovely Cab elegant and harmonious. Strikes an even balance between cherry and blackberry flavors smoky oak sweet herbs cocoa and spice. The tannins are beautifully ripe and soft. Of all these qualities balance is foremost. S.H.
