(includes some cabernet franc and merlot) Deep, bright ruby.Sweet cherry, redcurrant, clove and a subtle cigarbox quality on the nose, lifted by floral scents of violet and rose.Fresh and bright in the mouth, emphasizing bright cherry, licorice, black walnut and tobacco, with assertive oak spice.Chewy tannins on the finish provide a solid frame for this chunky, old-school cabernet. - Josh Raynolds

Expressive, aromatic nose full of heady dried red and black fruit, herbs, eucalyptus, and a bass note of that quintessentially Cabernet pencil lead. Certainly mature on the palate, yet holds a youthful vibrancy – a citrus, mouthwatering undertone lifts the dried fruit and herb flavors. The acidity persists through the finish onto resolved, subtle tannins. Water-weight in texture, this is refreshing and delicious right now, and will be best with food – particularly cured meats. Surprisingly complex and youthful at this stage, what an example of mature Cabernet in its full scope of flavors.
