I especially like the freshness of the highly layered nose with its shy secondary nuances that add depth to the complex and distinctly earthy dark berry fruit aromas. The rich and impressively concentrated middle weight flavors possess an attractive texture as well as plenty of minerality on the detailed, mouth coating and, like the 2001, quite firm finish. While clearly still youthful there is good balance here and again like the 2001, I would be inclined to let this snooze in the cellar for a while longer first.
