Chateau Latour a Pomerol is one of the leading Bordeaux wine producers from the Pomerol appellation. Since 1962, Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix has farmed the property, bringing their usual care and expertise to both vineyard and cellar.

The vineyard, with an average age of 35 years, is characterized by its soil diversity. There is loamy soil around the chateau itself with more gravel and clay in the best blocks near the church within the village of Pomerol. The estate has 8 hectares planted, predominantly Merlot with a small amount of Cabernet Franc.

Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix, who own many other properties in both Pomerol and Saint-Emilion, including Magdelaine, Belair-Monange, La Fleur-Petrus, Lafleur-Gazin, Lagrange, Trotanoy, and Hosanna.

Between elegance, power and smoothness, the wines of Chateau Latour a Pomerol show a perfect balance.

In the glass, this wine presents a deep, ruby red color that immediately captures the eye. Its vibrant hue hints at the intensity and richness that awaits the discerning palate. On the nose, tantalizing aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and plums intermingle with delicate floral notes, creating an aromatic symphony that is both alluring and complex. As you take your first sip, the wine gracefully dances on your tongue, revealing layers of flavors that unfold with each passing moment. Ripe black fruits, such as blackcurrants and blackberries, take center stage, accompanied by nuances of tobacco, cedar, and a hint of vanilla.
