Very ripe, with exotic kirsch, black cherry, spice and mineral aromas and flavors riding a vibrant structure. The tannins are mouthcoating and well-integrated. It's very forward, but hard to deny its charms. Drink now through 2012. 170 cases made. –BS

(BH90-92 points) Perhaps the ripest of these 4 Corton grands crus but it stops just short of any hints of surmaturité with expansive black fruit aromas that display an intensely soil-inflected character leading to very rich, full-bodied and powerful flavors of impressive depth and despite the robust tannins, they are completely buffered by buckets of sappy extract. This is not a particularly elegant wine but it's admirably long and offers excellent future potential.
