The second vintage for the cuvee and a bigger, richer version of the classic cuvee, the 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Renaissance offers lots of black and blue fruits, pepper, violets, licorice and spice on the nose. Full-bodied, loaded with fruit, concentrated and hedonistic, it has a hint of rusticity to its tannin, but should have no issues holding for at least another 4-5 years. - Jeb Dunnuck
