Burge Family’s flagship cuvee the 2004 Shiraz Draycott is a blend of 90% Shiraz 6% Grenache and 4% Mourvedre from 45-year-old vines. Aged in French oak (35% new) it exhibits a dense purple color as well as a primary nose of black raspberries blueberries licorice and smoke. Dense full-bodied and powerful it offers significant size substance and richness but comes across with remarkable finesse and elegance. It should age well for 10-15 years.
