Tasted from an ex-chateau bottle at the Lafleur vertical dinner at Attersee in Austria. It is four years since I last tasted this wine. Here, it has a very complex bouquet with blackberry, raspberry, warm gravel/bricks and a touch of orange rind. The palate is medium-bodied, supple and mellow on the entry and very harmonious. There is a slight powdery texture and become savoury in the glass, but it is a beautifully little Pomerol that should drink well over the next decade.
