The 2006 Syrah Saralee’s Vineyard is still sensational. Arrowood always co-fermented a small percentage of Viognier with Syrah, giving the wine a very exotic and fragrant personality. This wine still possesses those qualities at age nine, with notes of sweet blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, incense, licorice and honeysuckle.
