Dark purple through and through. Shows good pep for a 12-year-old Cotes de Castillon. Bright and juicy on the palate with ample blue and black fruits, the integrated tannins and youthful acidity give this good length and an appealing mouthfeel. Hints of dusty earth and broken stone round into form on the back end giving this a nice savory edge. Drink now through 2025+.

A blend of 80% Merlot 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc the 2006 exhibits a dense purple color as well as a sweet perfume of creme de cassis cherry liqueur licorice spice box and crushed rocks. With full body sweet tannin admirable purity and brilliant harmony among its component parts this full-bodied effort can be enjoyed over the next decade.

Dark purple core surrounded by a vibrant fuchsia rim. Raspberry aromas up front are supported by cooler notes of earth and limestone. The fruit comes back in with notes of bright cherry backed by light charcoal. The tannins are fairly strong on the palate giving a very full-bodied and chewy impression. Fairly rich fruits and cocoa from the front of the palate through the finish. 10% Cabernet Sauvignon 80% Merlot 10% Cabernet Franc.
