The 2006 Amarone della Valpolicella from Pra is a big richly textured wine loaded with dark fruit flowers minerals and graphite in a sleek yet beautifully delineated style. This enveloping beautiful Amarone closes with a long refreshing finish. As attractive as the wine is today it will be even better in a few years once the tannins settle down.
