80% Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc. Biodynamically farmed. 6.20 hectare vineyard situated on a south-southwest facing slope next to Angelus. 40 year old vines. Yoelds of 32 hls/ha. 70% new oak. This is definitely above average stuff. Deep and dense in the glass with lots of dark fruits to compliment an array of tobacco and anise. Good mouth feel and nice length. This is a very well made wine and a star of the region! Thienpont and Derenoncourt consult (this is their last vintage). Just over 2000 cases.
