A high-toned red pinot fruit nose that is more floral than any wine in the range leads to extremely fresh, detailed and lively flavors that possess both adequate volume and excellent intensity, all wrapped in a delicious, sappy and lingering finish. This is not an especially big wine, indeed it's quite forward for a grand cru but it's balanced and focused.
