(BH92-94 points) A completely different nose that is notably more elegant with airy and pure aromas of mostly spicy black fruit with background nuances of warm earth that continue onto the rich, full, ripe and mouth coating flavors that are impressively scaled and powerful on the hugely long finish. This is a big Echézeaux that has no problem going toe to toe with a relatively big Clos de Vougeot.
