The 2007 Syrah Rim Rock is a powerful wine loaded with black fruit bacon fat black pepper new leather and spices. The Rim Rock possesses great energy and focus with firm tannins providing the backdrop that should allow the wine to develop beautifully over the coming years. Linn fermented the Rim Rock with 50% whole clusters and gave the wine three years in oak. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2024.
