While not inexpensive for a generic Bordeaux this sleeper of the vintage possesses unbelievable richness in addition to copious notes of chocolate fudge espresso roast blackberry liqueur and cassis fruit. This smoky spicy in-your-face exuberant wine is not for everybody and it is clearly modern in style but it is impeccably well made pure and impressive. Consume it over the next decade.
