Initially somewhat exotic aromas of yellow peach apricot and spice showed more vibrant stony and floral nuances with aeration. Fat and silky on entry then suave and dry in the middle with a lovely light touch to its stone fruit and crushed rock flavors. In comparison the Truffiere from Vincent's brother Thomas was more stern and earthy while this was more accessible.

Ripe stone fruit leads on the nose progessing to light floral aromas along with wet stone and citrus notes. On entry this features a broad silky texture with stone fruit flavors pulled together nicely by focused acidity and notes of snap pea green apple and citrus. With good texture and balance this is a pleasure to drink now and over the next 5+ years.
