Fat silky and sweet but not heavy; this really fills the mouth. Less minerally than the 2007 release but shows a more serious tannic structure and less obvious sweetness than the 2009 Petite Fleur. Very long on the finish with the structure to age. 91(+?)

The fruit driven nose in this 100% Malbec really jumps out of the glass with aromas of chocolate fruitcake blackberry and Chambord liqueur. Soft on the palate with notes of red licorice anise and ripe red currants. Shows excellent balance and a long fruit laden finish.
