It undergoes handpicking and triple sorting before maturation in 500-liter French oak barrels. It has a very natural, refined bouquet with strawberry, Morello, dark plum and a touch of seaweed. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine, sensual tannins. There is a core of very pure, spicy red fruit laced with white pepper and a beautifully composed finish this is very natural, caressing and poised. This is a Syrah from the top drawer. Showing intriguing aromas of sweet cocoa powder, leafy herbs and stony minerals, the aromatic bouquet slowly gains more intensity with air. Showing intriguing aromas of sweet cocoa powder, leafy herbs and stony minerals, the aromatic bouquet slowly gains more intensity with air. Medium bodied, this is a pretty wine that chooses elegance and balance over power and is a better wine for it. Lithe in it's palate presence while possessing persistent flavors that build towards the backpalate, the emphasis is more on savory flavors atop some rustic edged black fruits. Spicy tannins add a fine layer of structure to the finish which is freshened up with some crisp acidity. A wine made with a light hand and all the better off for it.
