The 2009 Morey St. Denis Clos de la Bussiere offers up juicy blackberries blueberries spices and licorice in a powerful authoritative style. The tannins are very much present but they are also virtually covered by the sheer extract of the fruit. This needs a few years to shed some baby fat but it is already deeply impressive. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2034.
