The long, intense finish has mouthwatering acidity embedded deeply. Very vivid. Best from 2015 through 2025. 180 cases made. — JM

Inky dark in color, powerful, rich and deep, 3 hours in the decanter really helped the wine. Another decade in the cellar will however, help a lot more! Potent aromas of dark berries and cherry, with a strong mineral element and notes of licorice and black tea. In a brooding style, with intense, mineral-accented bitter cherry and blackberry flavors. Dusty tannins add grip to the firm, spicy, very persistent finish. I suspect that a few more years of bottle age will help this wine to stretch out. -- Josh Raynolds
