Note: from the oldest vines of the Domaine planted in 1938. An elegant pure and spiced nose of honeysuckle ripe pear and white peach aromas gives way to rich pure and ultra-refined medium-bodied flavors that possess seemingly buckets of dry extract that buffer the firm acid spine on the mouth coating and hugely long finish. This is always an exceptional wine but it rarely ascends to the level of the Bâtard but in 2009 it does just that. In sum this is a knockout BBM. - Comments: Don't miss!

It is a gorgeous striking wine from start to finish. Sweet floral notes meld seamlessly into highly expressive fruit as this supple pliant Burgundy shows off its pure breed. This is all class and elegance. The Bienvenues was aged in 1 year-old oak. It is exceptional. Anticipated maturity: 2014+.
