Very deep purple-black colored the 2009 Autograph Shiraz is intensely scented of creme de cassis black cherry preserves and dried plums with hints of fruit cake baking spice cedar and licorice. Full rich and voluptuous in the mouth it has a medium-high level of acid injecting just enough freshness with medium-firm grainy tannins to lend texture finishing long and layered. Drink it 2013 to 2024+. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown

Intensely concentrated dark fruit aromas focused with hints of dark chocolate sage and black olive. Rich and round with hints of viscosity black fruits and Greek olive flavors plus a fine thread of acidity that helps give shape to the texture. The finish is sophisticated and complex with an array of fruit pleasant acidity and smoky tannins. Shows impressive complexity with enticing minerally aromas that weave through the ripe fruit. An unabashed old school Barossa shiraz with good mid-palate roundness. Impressive.
