The nose offers a potpourri of wild red fruit including raspberry and cranberry enhanced with cola spice box and tobacco nuances. As is typical of this otherworldly vintage the palate is stunning and solidly structured. While red forest fruit is the centerpiece a spine of mouthwatering acidity continues long into the finish with minerality and a taut delineated backbone adding liveliness that will keep this wine fresh for years to come. An eye-opening expression of the vintage this is exciting to drink now but will benefit from 5-7 years of age.
