Pure vibrant aromas of citrus peel anise and spearmint along with a powerful element of crushed rock minerality. Densely packed and sharp as a paper cut with outstanding purity to its lemon lime and saline mineral flavors. Finishes with outstanding length and definition. A splendid Clos with acidity over 4.5 grams per liter according to Bernard Hervet.

This is almost Riesling-like with its petrol character that combines with notes of mineral reduction oyster shell citrus zest and a distinct saline element. There is excellent intensity with all of the drive that one expects in a classic vintage with firm acid spine shaping the medium-bodied flavors. I very much like the underlying sense of tension on the notably dry clean and racy finish.
