What a wonderful nose of crushed berries and flowers. Full body, with super polished tannins and a long juicy finish. It's a little austere. It must be the small percentage of Carmenere in the blend. Yummy but better in 2016. Seductive.

66% merlot 20% cabernet sauvignon 7% petit verdot and 7% carmenere. Produced by the Vauthier Family of Chateau Ausone fame. The nose features rich raspberry notes flawless cherry and spice followed by roasted herbs and grilled meats. Rich and dense the palate has wonderfully balanced tannins and structure and acidity comes in seamlessly on the mid palate with brilliance. This wine is a fantastic example of the Vauthier family's commitment to quality. Drink from 2018-2028.
