Wine Enthusiast, May 2013

A hugely powerful wine, full of dark, brooding tannins. It's a wine for seriously long-term aging, a sculptural vision of classic Bordeaux structure with with classy, ripe blackberry fruits. It has fresh acidity and an...

The Grand Vin is the product of exceptional terroirs from the heart of the original Leoville estate. These are located mainly in the Clos Leoville-Las Cases, which you pass as you leave the village of Saint-Julien for Pauillac. They extend over nearly 60 hectares producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with a complex, polished expression and characteristics which are totally unique to the Grand Vin of Las Cases.

The 2010 Leoville-Las Cases is a Bordeaux Blend produced in the St Julien sub-region of Bordeaux, France. This red wine, with an alcohol content of 13.5%, is sealed with a cork closure. Known for its complexity and aging potential, this vintage has received high praise from various reviewers.
