2010: Harvested extremely late (October 11 12 13) this blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc saw 100% new oak aging on its lees and neither fining nor filtration. The product of visionary Bernard Magrez it boasts an opaque purple color in addition to copious notes of espresso white chocolate blueberries boysenberries and blackberries. Full-bodied tannic youthful and loaded with potential it may merit an even higher score in a few years. Drink it over the next 20 years. The debut vintage the 2000 is awesome at age 10 with at least another decade or more of improvement ahead of it.
