The rich creamy sweet tropical fruits are given shape and lift by bracing minerality. An auslese in its depth and concentration this spatlese remains bright and vibrant on the very long spicy finish. One of the stars of the vintage.

Rich and powerful with concentrated flavors of dried apricot pear apple pastry and mango. Key lime and meringue emerge on the refined structure and this finishes with honeydew melon savory herb and smoke. Drink now... This has a sleek taught mineral-driven nose loaded with yellow peach apricot green apple as well as notes of lime chamomile wet stone and saline. High-toned and expressive this hits the palate with a creamy rich texture showing more ripe yellow stone fruit along with fresh-cut red currant Granny Smith apple and lime citrus along with an extra touch of salinity. The acid is striking and persistent carrying the wine and giving it a tightly wound structure and a finish that carries on for nearly a minute. This is quite harmonious. An exciting wine that reveals layers upon layers lending itself to age gracefully for decades to come. This is the kind of wine that will leave you wishing you had a few more in reserve.
