The 2010 Uriah Wahluke Slope checks in as a blend of 46% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon. A beautiful wine that excels for its classy, balanced and structured feel, it gives up plenty of plum, black cherry, licorice, dusty soil and dark chocolate-like aromas and flavors that flow perfectly to a medium to full-bodied, elegant and layered feel on the palate. Seeing 21 months in 65% new French oak, it’s a smoking Washington State Bordeaux blend about 15 years or more of longevity. - Jeb Dunnuck
