This is the winery’s least expensive Syrah, but it’s also just about their best. Despite high alcohol, it doesn’t feel hot, offering a warm, glycerine richness to complex layers of blackberries, blueberries, mocha, grilled meat, black pepper and new oak. It’s hard to see it aging well, but it’s a delicious, dramatic Syrah to drink now.
